Cal State Univ San Bernardino, Santos Manuel Student Union Pride Center

The Pride Center is here to serve the larger campus community through education, advocacy, and social justice. Studies have shown that lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender students find many campus climates to be hostile or uninviting. So, The Pride Center is here to help educate the campus community on issues such as homophobia, heterosexism, inclusive language, and sexual or gender identity issues.

Also, LGBT students often deal with various forms of physical, verbal, emotional, and psychological abuse and harassment, both on and off the CSUSB campus. This type of harassment can create an unsafe environment and may cause difficulties for LGBT students academically and in their personal lives. The Pride Center is here to provide a platform for social justice as it is related to the rights of LGBT students and faculty on the CSUSB campus.
